All Study UK members are accredited under the BAC's quality assurance scheme and are committed to providing the highest standards of education to students.
Choosing a BAC-accredited college means you are certain of high-quality learning, value for money and the best investment for your future.
BAC-accredited colleges have been thoroughly inspected to ensure that they:
- offer only qualifications of value, and where they prepare students for degrees, work only with accredited universities.
- offer a good standard of teaching and academic support.
- offer a good standard of welfare support.
- are financially stable.
- are legally compliant.
If you are coming from outside Europe, studying at an accredited institution that is listed on the UK Border Agency's Register of Sponsors is now a requirement for gaining a UK student visa. From March 2009, unaccredited private colleges are no longer allowed to enrol visa students.
While Study UK acknowledges that some dishonest, unaccredited colleges exist in the UK, we are committed to working with the authorities, the British Accreditation Council and the British Council to eliminate them.
