Seminar on the Sponsor Management System

4 February 2010

BAC and Study UK have organised an event to help colleges with the introduction of the Sponsor Management System, which goes live on 22 February 2010.

The event will be held at Regent's College Conference Centre on 17 February 2010 and will involve representatives of BAC, Study UK, UKBA, and a specialist in immigration law from Penningtons Solicitors. Please scroll down to download the provisional programme for the event.

If you would like to attend the event, please complete and return the booking form (found at the bottom of the page) to events@the-bac.org or post to Jane Marsh at the BAC offices by 10 February 2010.

Please note that all Tier 4 sponsors have been issued with a Sponsor Management System e-Learning disc and you should make sure that you are familiar with this before attending the event. We would also request that all those attending have at least accessed the Sponsor Management System via the Transition Exercise:

Transition Exercise

If you are a Tier 4 sponsor licensed before 5 October 2009, you will have been given an allocation of Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS) for Tier 4 Student. You need to convert your allocation of Tier 4 Student CoS to Tier 4 General or Child Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS); this is referred to as 'Transition'. Full details are available at this link

If you have any particular queries about the SMS, please email Caroline Greves at the BAC prior to the event.
