Safeguarding in a modern age

This full day interactive workshop, jointly hosted by Study UK and Brave the Rage, will assist you with putting together a safeguarding programme for your students.  The course will promote a step by step guide to personal safety in our modern world. Professionals will leave with a better understanding of the safeguarding best practice policies and procedures, and of their role in and responsibilities for ensuring student safety.

An interactive workshop format, with best practice case studies and role-plays.  There will be plenty of time for discussion and questions.

Any staff working in teaching, admissions or student services.

About the trainer:
Brave the Rage Trainer Julie K Wilkinson has over 20 years’ experience working with young people on issues related to bullying and wellbeing.  She is qualified in mediation and conflict resolution.  Julie has worked for Kidscape as an Anti Bullying Coordinator for England, and is currently Vice Chair of Children England.
