Providing Students with Solutions to Stress and Time Management

This half-day interactive workshop, jointly hosted by Study UK and Brave the Rage will prepare you to provide your students with stress and time management tools and techniques.

Session content:

  • Who Am I? Values, beliefs and self-identity
  • Motivation - My dream and short term goals. How do I achieve them?
  • Time and budget management
  • My work and life action plan
  • The power of confidence building tools and techniques
  • Stress, anger and consequences
  • Solutions to stress and anger
    • Anger management and relaxation techniques
    • Conflict resolution and negotiation techniques
  • Increasing emotional resilience: The importance of body language

Session format:
An interactive workshop format, with best practice case studies and role-plays.  There will be plenty of time for discussion and questions. 

This session is suitable for:
Any staff working in teaching or student services.

About the trainer:
Brave the Rage Trainer Julie K Wilkinson has over 20 years’ experience working with young people on issues related to bullying and wellbeing.  She is qualified in mediation and conflict resolution.  Julie has worked for Kidscape as an Anti Bullying Coordinator for England, and is currently Vice Chair of Children England.
