Medical School Preparation (for 16-18s)

This course is designed for students who are considering applying to British medical schools, who might like to know more about the different courses available and the specific application processes, and who would like to receive some personalised advice on how to start writing their personal statements.
This course will advise students on medical school application best practices, demystifying the process and addressing any concerns they may have. It will guide students through what they need to know before applying, from a discussion of why Medicine might be the course and career for them to the differences between various medical schools and their application processes, with a focus on Oxford and Cambridge.

Introduction to Medicine (for 13-15s)

This new two-week course will introduce students aged 13-15 to the exciting discipline of Medicine. With guidance from Oxford Royale Academy’s expert teachers, participants will engage in theoretical study of human anatomy and associated topics, alongside interactive skills sessions to help them develop key competencies for their future studies, such as presentation and interpersonal skills. The key aims of the Introduction to Medicine course are to provide students with an early insight into life as a doctor, and to give them a head start in the knowledge required to get there.

Business and Enterprise Programme (for 16-18s)

The Business and Enterprise Programme is designed to provide students aged 16-18 with a summer course consisting of both academic classes in international business and group activities focusing on leadership. The course is aimed at students who plan to study business at University – the business leaders of the future!

Introduction to Enterprise (for 13-15s)

The Introduction to Enterprise course, for students aged 13-15, will provide participants with an unrivalled head start on the road to business success. The course will combine exciting, interactive study of the key principles of Economics and Business Studies with interactive group projects, case studies and skills sessions. Broadening Horizons (for 16-18s)

Our Broadening Horizons course offers students aged 16-18 the opportunity to live and study in a college of the University of Oxford or Yarnton Manor. Students choose three subjects from the 30 options available, allowing them to pursue areas of interest or to try out something new.

New Perspectives (for 13-15s)

Our New Perspectives programme offers students aged 13-15 the opportunity to live and study in a college of the University of Oxford. For each two-week session, students choose one combination of subjects from five possible pairs, allowing them to pursue areas of interest or to try out something new.

Oxford Summer English (for 13-15s, and 16-18s)

Oxford Summer English (OSE) encourages students to learn English and develop their ability to communicate with people from different cultures and countries. ORA promotes a coherent multi-cultural approach to English language learning, encouraging students to share ideas and focus on the positive aspects of actively expanding their English abilities.
