INTO University of East Anglia International foundation year programmes

INTO University of East Anglia is a partner of the University of East Anglia and is based on the beautiful University campus in the city of Norwich, UK.

The University of East Anglia is a top 14 UK university (Times and Sunday Times University Guide 2015) with an excellent academic reputation. Students at the University rated their student experience top 3 in the UK in the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey 2014.

INTO University of East Anglia offers pathway courses to over 145 undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at the University of East Anglia in areas such as: Business; Economics; Law; Environmental Science; Media, Film and TV Studies; Energy Engineering; International Development; Computing Science; Pharmacy; Biomedicine; Psychology; Translation and Linguistics; Plant Science; Molecular Biology and Genetics; International Relations; and History of Art.

There are also a range of English language programmes on offer.

Students at INTO University of East Anglia enjoy full use of the University facilities, including the library, Students’ Union and Sportspark.

Students will find plenty to do in the historic and vibrant city of Norwich. There are two shopping malls with brand name stores alongside independent shops and boutiques. The city is home to four cinemas as well as many other entertainment options, such as bowling, karaoke, laser tag and paintball. Norwich is a cultural city with many concerts and gigs on offer every week, including those held at the University. There are also a wide variety of restaurants in the city, with a range of different cuisines available to try.

International Foundation

The International Foundation programme combines academic study, intensive English language preparation, study skills and cultural orientation - all that is needed for university success.

Upon successful completion of the International Foundation programme, students will be guaranteed a place on the first year of a relevant undergraduate degree at the University of East Anglia, subject to meeting the specified entry requirements.

We offer four pathways: Business, Economics, Society and Culture; Humanities and Law; Mathematics and Actuarial Science; and Science.

The course lasts three terms or approximately 9 months and has start dates in September and January. An extended course is available for students who do not meet the English language entry requirements. For more information, please visit our website.

Newton A-level Programme

The Newton A-level Programme has been designed to enable gifted students to reach their full potential and, most importantly, to help them achieve the highest A-level grades and a place at the university of their choice.

Our students have gone on to study at top universities such as Cambridge, UCL, LSE and Imperials, as well as top medical schools. The most common set of results achieved at A-level by our Newton Students is 4 A* grades.

Newton Students' academic learning is bolstered by workshops with university academics and students, interview practice sessions, field trips, visit days and admissions test preparation. We also offer a programme of tailored support for students intending to apply for medical-related courses.

This specialist A-level programme offers a unique opportunity to study A-levels on a university campus. Students will work towards the well-respected Cambridge International Examination Board A-levels in subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Accounting, Economics and Psychology.

Two course length options are available: a six term programme lasting approximately 24 months and a five term programme lasting approximately 21 months. For more information, please visit our website.

International Diploma

The International Diploma is a full-time academic programme that offers students the opportunity to increase their academic and English language skills to enable advanced entry to year two of an undergraduate degree in Norwich Business School or the School of Economics at the University of East Anglia.

The International Graduate Diploma programme provides international students with a pathway onto a wide range of postgraduate degrees at the University of East Anglia.

We offer two pathways: Business and Economics; and Social Sciences.

English for University Study

The English for University Study course offers intensive English language study designed to prepare students for entry to either a further academic preparation programme at INTO or for entry to a degree programme at the University of East Anglia.

Students will develop their English language and academic study skills, as well as research skills at higher levels.

With multiple start dates and different durations of study, the course has the flexibility to cater for students with different language levels.

You will initially focus on developing core English language skills, before moving on to focusing on skills relevant to your study, including teamwork, problem solving, critical thinking and time management. For more information, please visit our website.
