Study UK Create project information

Study UK Create is one of a number of successful applicants to benefit from the £2m GREAT UK Challenge Fund, part of the Government’s GREAT Britain Campaign.

Study UK Create brings together a group of Study UK members who deliver education in the creative arts and related industries (initially ICMP, SAE Institute and Sassoon Academy), who elected to work in a consortium in order to capitalise on international marketing opportunities for the UK creative industries within education.

The Study UK Create project aims to:

  • Increase awareness of the education opportunities available in the UK creative sector
  • Increase the number of prospective, high-quality international students rating the UK as their number one choice for study
  • Increase the number of international students actively applying to and studying in the UK
  • Establish partnerships with schools within target markets in order to develop longer term recruitment opportunities, promoting the strength of UK education in general and in the creative industries specifically

Study UK is coordinating this project, utilising the relevant expertise of each partner to plan, promote and deliver the project as a consortium. Through sharing expertise and pooling resources, Study UK Create will achieve a greater impact and stronger return on investment than isolated marketing activity by individual, specialist colleges would be capable of achieving. The target market for 2016 will be Indonesia, a British Council priority market with a mobile population, demographic demand for higher education, and high growth potential.

If you are interested in becoming a Study UK Create partner, or you would like to find out more information about the Indonesia 2016 project, please contact Jane Marsh, Study UK’s Membership Services Manager (jane.marsh@study-uk.org).
