All Study UK members are accredited under the BAC's quality assurance scheme and are committed to providing the highest standards of education to students.
Study UK seeks to raise the profile of UK independent education by establishing a UK benchmark quality brand worldwide. All members of Study UK are accredited by the BAC, which has been providing a comprehensive quality assurance scheme for independent further and higher education since 1984.
Gaining accreditation, however, is not the end of the process. The BAC continually monitors and improves standards of management, teaching, welfare, resources, and health and safety in all its accredited colleges. Colleges meeting the scheme's high standards are "BAC accredited" and may advertise themselves as such using the Accreditation Scheme marque:
Along with BAC accreditation, Study UK members agree to uphold and abide by the Study UK Members' Code of Practice, which makes requirements of members over and above those of the BAC's quality assurance scheme.
Study UK also seeks regular consultation with government bodies, with the Qualification and Curriculum Authority and with its counterparts in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, as well as with Universities UK and the Council for Validating Universities to ensure that Study UK member colleges are legally compliant and that students are given appropriate and high quality education.
