Study UK represents and promotes the interests of its members, both at a UK governmental level and internationally.
As public policy is not always made with a clear understanding of the contribution or the needs of the independent college sector, Study UK represents and promotes the interests of its members to governments, government agencies and other organisations in the UK and abroad.
The first major concern Study UK addressed on behalf of members was the maintenance requirement for international students applying to study in the UK under Tier 4 of the new Points Based System.
Study UK will no doubt be involved in more sectoral lobbying over the coming months, and with member numbers increasing, the association is fast becoming a significant force for the sector.
