IT Professional (Applications Software)
This is a 2-year level 3 pogramme offering candidates an internationally recognised qualification in applications software that is supported by governments and commercial organisations globally
The course is suitable for anyone who wishes to gain `power user` status across the full range of Microsoft applications in use in business today. It is also suitable for those wishing to gain high-level IT user skills before progressing to University
There are no formal entry requirements. Applicants must however have a successful track record of study and a good standard of English language (IELTS 5.0 or above)
The course leads to the BCS Certificate in IT User Skills (ECDL Advanced) which is accredited at level 3 on the UK`s Qualification and Credits Framework and carries 29 credits
IT Professional (Systems Support)
This is a 2 year level 3 programme designed to provide accreditation for the knowledge, understanding and skills required in Systems Support including planning and control, the installation of networks and operating systems, the installation and manitenance of applications and the testing of systems
The course will be of interest to anyone wishing to gain employment in a front line systems support role and students who wish to progress to gain further professional certification or to study IT at University
Applicants must have A+ certification or the equivalent experience and a good standard of English laguage (IELTS 5.0 or above)
The course leads to the OCR Level 3 Diploma for IT Professionals (ICT Systems Support), a qualification in the UK which encompases the CompTia and Microsoft exams which contribute to MCSA
IT Professional (Business Administration)
This is a 2 year level 3 programme which provides cadidates with a high quality, professionally recognised qualification to support entry into the modern business environment in an administrative support role
The course will be of particular interest to those wishing to gain employment in a senior administrative/secretarial role where the job involves complex text processing and the competence to produce a varity of current and complex business documents under pressure and with minimal support
