Who is eligible to join?
Membership of Study UK is open to any college or institution that:
- Holds a valid British Accreditation Council (BAC) accreditation
- Agrees to abide by the Association's Memorandum & Articles of Association, and the Study UK Rules
In addition, members will be entitled to become Premier Members if they:
- Have held BAC accreditation for a minimum of four years
- Have completed a minimum of two successful consecutive BAC full inspections
- Are fully accredited by a British university to run either a complete degree programme or final year under official license, having successfully gone through the university's official Quality Assurance process.*
* NB. Colleges and institutions not offering courses at degree level may also acquire Premier Member if deemed worthy of special invitation by the Study UK Board.
Membership fees
Inaugural Annual Membership fees are set according to the college's size on the following scale:
| 1 - 100 full-time equivalent students | £500 p/a |
| 101 - 450 full-time equivalent students | £750 p/a |
| 450+ full-time equivalent students | £1000 p/a |
Premier members pay a £500 annual supplement.
For new members, membership fees are charged pro rata on the basis of complete months in membership.
Application procedure
Applying to join Study UK is a straightforward process and involves:
- Submission of a completed application form (see the Join Study UK section to apply online or download the form as a PDF document); and
- Submission of current publicity materials
Final authority for ratifying membership applications is the responsibility of the Study UK Board.
